Gallery Walk: Major events of unit 4
In this project, students will deepen their understanding of how much the world changed during the historical periods of the Renaissance, Reformation, and Age of Exploration. Each group will be assigned to research a different world region. What are the significant discoveries and achievements from this period? How were people challenged to think differently during this time? How did these changes impact the world at this point?
Students will create an ANIMATED TIMELINE that shows the major events, people, and ideas that took place during their assigned period. Students are responsible for researching the date and time periods that these events took place in. All events should be placed in chronological order. The design of the timeline and creative decisions are made by all the group members. The goal of this project is not to assess drawing skills, but to evaluate your skill in researching historical events and sequencing them in order.
